A Very Fluffy Bunny!

Well, this is just about the fluffiest little bunny I know of!! She's 4 inches plus ears just like her brother which I posted before this. When I received the viscose from Italy not long ago, I washed the fabric, ran my fingers through it against the grain and let it dry as it was. It is amazingly easy to work with and gives a very full, fluffy result. Should you be interested in acquiring some of the fur, email me and I'll send you a link to the source! This little lady may be spoken for, but if not, I'll put her in my Etsy shop the first of the week. I have some black viscose just like this so I'm looking forward to making a very fluffy panda!

Lilly is now on her way to her new home in Connecticut! She should be there to join in Easter festivities!

I've just added this fine little fellow named Edward in my Etsy shop! If you are interested in adopting him hop on over to www.Donnaandthebears.etsy.com He's made out of the softest viscose which I ordered from Anna in Italy. I've just started using viscose for the look of it - just like toys I had when I was a kid. This is the ultimate!!! I have a couple other colors and hope to be getting more. He's just four inches tall plus those wonderful ears.  If Edward isn't on the first page of my shop, that means he's been adopted. Hope you love him!!

Well, 41 years ago today, my dear husband and I were married. We don't have any wedding photos but the one above was taken during our first year of marriage.
So. Happy Anniversary Travis.
I understand the first 41 years are the toughest!!

Preview for Teddies Worldwide Online Show has begun!

Here's my little darling "True" atop her pincushion - my preview bear for the upcoming Teddies Worldwide online show which will take place on March 20th.
This will be an "all teddies" show and I've decided to make it an "all pandas" show for me! I have recently begun adding pincushions for my tiny bears - a perfect spot for them, I think, with matching flowers and other elements. I had a great time at a local quilt show last weekend buying silk ribbons and hand dyed fabric for the pin cushions themselves. Do let me know what you think!!! I will offer a few of these pandas on pincushions during the show in brilliant colors. Hope you like purple, green, and pink as well as this magnificent blue!!

We Need A Little Spring!

Our weather is making me dizzy!! I had to look through some photos and the bright color from last year's blossoms! Yesterday was terribly cold. Today it was close to 70 degrees!!! and tomorrow there may be snow and other frozen stuff. Oh MY!!
