Can Spring Be Far Behind?????
With record snowfall predicted for us tomorrow, I just had to put my new little bears - "Beezer and Lady Buggly - Master Gardeners" on top of the page. Since I'm from Florida originally, I'm ready for Spring right after Christmas. The two little bears are searching their gardening catalogs and making preparations for planting. They will be availale for adoption just a little later in the year. Hope you like them! Oh, their are both just a smidge under 4 inches tall. I'm getting my snowshoes on!!!!!

Let the Adoptions Begin!!!!!
I offer three bears, Jeremy, James, and Richard for adoption. 100% of the adoption fees will be donated to the Red Cross for aid the the earthquake victims in Haiti. The donations will be made in the name of the new adoptive parent.
If you are interested in adopting one of these bears, please email me at Donnaandthebears@AOL.com. The adoptions will be on a first come, first served basis and as it may take some time to mark the bears "adopted" please let me know if you have alternates should the bear you wish be unavailable.
Some information about the bears: they are 10 inches tall, made of mohair, are fully jointed, and have glass eyes. They come from a smoke free home and are not suitable for children as they are collector pieces. Each has a fully lined, removable jacket made of cotton. Please email with further questions.
Adoption fee for each bear is $225. Within the US, you may send a check made out to the Red Cross. If you wish to use credit cards, I will send a Paypal invoice. Adoptions from everywhere welcome and I shall pay shipping and postage worldwide.
So, here they are!
Richard - Cream colored bear Richard has been adopted!!!!
James - Gold bear James has been adopted!!!!
Jeremy - Brown bear Jeremy has been adopted!!!!!
I am thrilled that all the bears have been adopted!
Thanks for your generosity Melanie, Pam, and Susan! I appreciate your adopting these bears and I hope they will bring great joy and that your contributions will lessen the suffering of our neighbors. God Bless!!

A tiny look at tomorrow's adoption bears
Bears for Adoption for Haiti Aid
Tomorrow, January 17th, I shall offer three bears for adoption. 100% of the adoption fees will be donated to the Red Cross in the name of the adoptive parent for aid to the people of Haiti. I will pay for shipping and insurance worldwide.
I expect to put some "sneak peaks" of the three bears here later tonight. They are "cousins" to the Three Amigos which appear on the opening page of my website: www.Donnaandthebears.com and in the gallery. I've made fully lined cotton jackets for each of them. They are about 10 inches tall and made of mohair. The adoption fee for each will be $225.
I expect to hold the adoption beginning around 11 a.m. EST.
I hope you'll stop by to take a look.

Happy New Year!
Twenty ten or Two thousand ten has begun well in the Griffin household. I've been working on new bears for a special project that I will tell you about soon. I've promised not to show the photos for awhile, but I'll say that they are "springy."
It's still cold here but we should see 50 degrees (Farenheit) tomorrow! Can spring be far away???
The new photo at the top of the page was a project for a photography class some years ago. I had only minimal megapixels at the time. I think my Iphone has more now! Anyway, all the photos were taken from my deck.
Cleo and Rocky are thriving and are very lively! I'm amazed they slowed down long enough for me to take these photos this morning. Still considered kittens, Cleo is 10 months old and Rocky (bushy tail) is 7 months. They are such a joy!!
